Susan Baker

susan_baker_martin_150pxSusan joined Trillium Asset Management Corporation (“Trillium”) in 1986, after working for Harvard Management and Price Waterhouse.  In 2000, she left to become a  director of religious education and spend more time with her family.  Susan rejoined the firm in 2006 and is currently a portfolio manager and social research analyst.  Susan earned her B.A. from Middlebury College and an Ed.M. from Harvard University.

Shelley AlpernShelley engages with companies on a wide range of concerns, including environmental health, climate change, human rights, and equal employment opportunity. She is the recipient of the 2005 Socially Responsible Investing Service Award, which is awarded by peers in the SRI industry, and was recognized by Fortune as one of the 25 most powerful lesbians and gay men in business for her work in promoting sexual orientation nondiscrimination policies. She is also the recipient of the first ever Rachel Carson Advocacy Award from the Silent Spring Institute. Her environmental work was profiled in E: The Environmental Magazine.

Shelley serves on the steering committee of the Advocacy and Public Policy Committee of the Social Investment Forum, and is a Board Member of the Center for Political Accountability and the Salem (Massachusetts) Alliance for the Environment.
