Director of ESG Research and ESG Specialist
Beth Williamson is a Director of ESG Research and ESG Specialist at Trillium, providing research support on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) topics for all of Trillium’s equity strategies. Beth’s research has a global focus, with in-country experience in South America, Africa, Europe, Southeast Asia, as well as across North America. Prior to joining Trillium, Beth worked as a Sustainability Analyst at Portfolio 21, where she helped build and manage the firm’s ESG research discipline and investment process. Beth’s career in socially responsible investing began at Green Century Capital Management in her role as a Shareholder Advocate.
In 2004, Beth earned a Master of Arts in Sustainable International Development from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University. While attending Brandeis, Beth interned with Oxfam America, researching and contributing to the report Like Machines in the Field: Workers Without Rights in American Agriculture. Beth recently earned the SASB FSA Level I Credential and is currently pursuing Level II.
