Director of Shareholder Advocacy
Susan is a Director of Shareholder Advocacy at Trillium Asset Management. She leads shareholder advocacy efforts on behalf of Trillium clients which has led to dozens of successfully negotiated agreements on a range of environmental, social, and governance issues. Susan began her career at Harvard Management Company before joining Trillium. Working under the leadership of Trillium’s founder, Joan Bavaria, a pioneer in the field of sustainable and responsible investing, she held responsibilities as investment manager and research analyst before joining Trillium’s shareholder advocacy team in 2006. Susan previously served on the Boards of the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility, The Thirty Percent Coalition and is former Board Chair and Treasurer of Pesticide Action Network, North America. She holds degrees from Middlebury College and Harvard Graduate School of Education.
