Chris Golden
Senior Manager, Legal and Compliance
Chris joined the Australian based financial firm, Perpetual Limited, in the fourth quarter of 2021 as Senior Manager, Legal and Compliance, for the Americas and Chief Compliance Officer of Perpetual US Services, LLC (d/b/a PGIA). He has years of experience in the asset management industry, most recently serving as the Chief Compliance Officer and Legal Counsel for a Chicago-based private debt fund adviser. Chris previously served as US Legal Counsel for Henderson Global Investors from 2011 until the merger of Janus Henderson in June 2017. He started his legal career as an associate at Sidley Austin in New York City before moving to Chicago and joining Vedder Price P.C.
Chris received his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Boston University and his J.D. from Cornell Law School. Chris resides in Chicago with his wife and two children.
