Denise Selden joined the Trillium Asset Management US Advisory Board in July 2020. Denise is an experienced portfolio manager for Global Growth All Cap Equities and for International Small Cap Growth Equities, serving institutional clients at Putnam Investments from 1998 through 2008 and at Copper Rock Capital Partners from 2008 through 2018. In 2019 Denise established Sustainability Edge, a consulting firm focused on business strategies for asset management firms implementing ESG and Impact investments. As the Principal of Sustainability Edge she works with her team to design investment vehicles and corporate guidelines for asset managers across the broad range of public and private instruments.
Prior to her position as a global equities portfolio manager for institutional clients, Ms. Selden worked at Lehman Brothers from 1981 through 1996 in Management, Research, Trading and Sales after equities research experience at Loomis Sayles & Co. and State Street Bank and Trust. Her area of equities research and management specialization was in Healthcare and Stable Growth sectors.
Ms. Selden is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Credential Holder in Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting from the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board. She holds a B.A. from Brandeis University and an M.S.M. (M.B.A.) from M.I.T. Sloan.
